Workplace incidents and accidents can have moral, social, legal & financial implications. In an ideal world risk would be avoided, where this is not possible measures need to be introduced to reduce risk to acceptable levels. Within a workplace employers and employees have a legal responsibility to maintain a safe working environment. This course delivers key safety information on the responsibilities of both employers and employees, how to manage risk and the procedures for reporting health and safety violations.
